My name is Alysa, I'm 19. I live in Serbia, among the hills and quiet streets, but my thoughts are always somewhere far away. My main goal is to speak English so that I can be understood perfectly. No pauses, no fear, free. Why is this so important? Because I breathe rap. For me, this is not just music, but a whole universe. When I listen to tracks, I want to understand every word, every play of meaning, every shade of emotion. Translations kill the vibe, but I want to feel the beat and text with my skin. Every day is a struggle. In the morning I turn on podcasts, in the afternoon I repeat complex phrases from my favorite songs, in the evening I watch TV series without subtitles. Sometimes you want to give up everything: the language seems overwhelming, the accent is annoying, and the grammar is confusing. But then I hear a new track and the motivation returns. My parents don't always understand my obsession. “Why do you need this English?” - they ask. And I dream of the day when I can go to where this music is played and talk to people in their language. Not as a tourist, but as one of our own. I know the road is long. Mistakes, misunderstandings, embarrassment - all this is part of the process. But I'm persistent. Every phrase learned is a step towards a dream. One day I will stand in the crowd at a concert and shout the words of my favorite song along with everyone, understanding their essence. And this will be the best moment of my life. For now I'm just learning, listening and believing in myself.
